Anzuvar is a true metropolis. When entering the city you first see the piers of the harbor. Jutting out from the rough, jagged rocks are two walls of stone, like a crab's claws, each over a kilometer long. At their ends are two gargantuan statues. The first is easily 35 meters tall, showing an emberkin with additional flames erupting from their shoulders; its right-hand is extended and holds a small, sun-shaped object from which shines a beam of light, illuminating the sea. The second is smaller, standing roughly 30 meters, and showing a winged infernis.

Along the two piers are wooden walkways, which branch out to multiple large docks, along which a lot of ships are docked. Hundreds of sailors are loading and unloading ships, bustling like ants. Where the harbor meets the unforgiving rocks, a large tunnel goes into the mountains, containing a road spiraling up to the city itself. Along the rock face itself are several roped elevators, allowing smaller, lighter cargo to be lifted up to wooden constructions higher up the mountain. Then, the city itself starts coming into view. It is built between five unforgiving mountains, with the lower valley between them used as trading hub. Thousands of houses, hundreds of inns, markets, temples, and warehouses are spread out, with narrow, yet cozy alleys between them. Arched bridges provide quicker roads between the multiple diverse neighborhoods, while magically powered monorails use the underside of these bridges as rails.

Above the center of the valley rises an artificial mountain, a few kilometer in diameter at the base, leading up to a small, gorgeous square with a singular building on it, hundreds of meters above the valley. From the square, four bridges lead to four of the surrounding mountains. Kageryi points out the bigger bridges as The Grand Promenade, and the small square as the location of the Zillu Casino, a grand and very richly decorated building with four wings, resembling a four-leaf clover. Along the gracious bridges, a few clearly richer people are strolling and enjoying the magnificent view. Just when the airship comes down, a small and fast, metal tram rides along this bridge. It is decorated with beautiful filigree patterns.

High up on the four mountains connected to the plaza are smaller neighborhoods, consisting of large villas and estates for the elite of the city. There are also some larger temples and gorgeous parks in these neighborhoods.

High on the final mountain, connected via stairs to the valley below, is a ridiculously large palace. This is where the actual ruler of Anzuvar, called Azuryth, lives. Lower on that same mountain, in a natural slight valley that was excavated to be larger. In this valley, a very large building, as well as a lot of smaller ones were built. This is the Emberspyre University.
